Data Center Power Trade Show

For the past few years, data center power monitoring company Server Technology (News - Alert) has been attending DataCenter Dynamics Washington D.C., an event that provides an opportunity to come to grips with the latest in mission-critical infrastructure and networks with professionals from across the sector. This year is no exception.

“We attend DCD Washington DC because it’s the perfect show for getting in front of key data center professionals in the greater Maryland, DC, Virginia area,” Brandon Siri, senior marketing representative for Server Technology, told TMCnet. “We see a good blend of private and governmental customers attending this event. With the record number of new products we’ve been releasing this year, we are excited to spread the word about what’s new here at Server Tech and how it will benefit the data center community as a whole.”

For the past 25 years, Server Technology has been providing the world’s largest companies with power management solutions. The data center power monitoring company targets two primary markets –data centers and telecommunications.

Server Technology is looking forward to spreading the word about its services at DCD, an event that features speakers from GEICO, US EPA ENERGY STAR (News - Alert), the U.S. Department of Energy and FusionX.

When asked what Server Technology is most looking forward to about this year’s event, Siri said the company is most excited about putting its Sentry Power Manager (SPM) v5.0 in the spotlight.

“Our Sentry Power Manager (SPM) v5.0, the global rack-level power monitoring and management tool, was launched earlier this summer,” Siri said. “DCD DC is the perfect event for us to give live, onsite demos of the product.”

“We’re sending several power experts to the event to handle any and all questions about the SPM product, its numerous versatile uses, and how it work with CDUs to become the best of breed global power monitoring tool,” he added. “Power strategy and CDU deployment in the data center are our areas of expertise and we are eager to get in front of our DC area customers to share this.”

Server Technology is exhibiting at this year’s event and it invites all attendees to stop by its booth to enjoy schedule appointments, product demonstrations and discussions about its CDU program.

This year’s show is particularly important for attendees as data center power consumption has been in the hot seat for awhile now.

“Right now, the government and private companies are very concerned about their energy consumption,” Siri said. “There is a lot out there on the subject, but at DCD event we really see a focus on the subject. Attending a DCD is one of the best ways for an individual to gather the most relevant, accurate and timely information on the data center industry. DCD shows have excellent speakers, exhibitors, and attendees.”

“We’re just as excited to learn as we are to teach,” he added. “Server Technology listens closely to our customers in order to build the solutions that they need for their data centers. With the largest engineering team dedicated solely to CDUs in the industry, Server Technology is designing the features, power options and monitoring tools that world-class data centers need to most effectively manage their power. If you are looking for a power solution for your data center and can’t find one, we invite you to stop by our booth at DCD Washington DC and talk to us. If we can’t find a solution that already exists, we may be able to engineer you one.”
